This page explains how to delete your Anchored account and the data stored with it. Anchored is developed and operated by CJ Interactive LLC. You can delete your account yourself inside the app, or email us if you no longer have the app installed. Both options are described below.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within Anchored:

Open the Anchored app.
Tap Settings at the bottom of the home screen.
Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
Confirm when prompted. If you linked your account with Google or Apple, you will be asked to sign in again so we can verify it is you.

You have 24 hours to change your mind. Once you confirm, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion and the app switches to an “Account Deletion Pending” screen showing the time remaining. To keep your account, tap Cancel Deletion on that screen any time within the 24 hours. After the 24 hours pass, the deletion runs and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account for you:

Send an email to justin@cjinteractivellc.com with the subject "Delete my Anchored account."

Send it from the email address you used to sign in with Google or Apple, or include your Account ID so we can find your account. Your Account ID is shown at the bottom of the Settings screen and you can tap it to copy it. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes everything tied to it. Nothing is retained in an anonymized form.

Your sign-in account and your customer record with our subscription provider (RevenueCat)	Deleted

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your Anchored account does not cancel an active subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the app store rather than by us. Cancel it before or after deleting your account:

Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel Anchored.
iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Anchored.
